On Tuesday 30th November, DaXtra's Enterprise Practice Lead David Mercer sat down with UK Recruiter's Louise Triance as part of the UK Recruiter Recruitment Smarts series to give his insights on how you can see success when you implement new software into your tech stack.
The chat started with David and Louise discussing why it's important for businesses to clearly define the challenges they're looking to solve before deciding on and implementing any new software.
David explained in detail how coming up with a list of clearly defined challenges can help you make the right decision when you're testing and investing in different technologies and solutions.
For example, if you’re purchasing software for a large number of users across different teams, you should try and select a project sponsor from each team who can be in charge of collecting feedback from their team members on the different challenges they are facing.
These challenges can then be condensed into a final list that you and the relevant stakeholders can discuss with different software vendors during your initial calls and demonstrations.
