The TIARA Talent Tech Star Awards recognise and celebrate excellence in the recruitment and talent acquisition industry. They shine a spotlight on the best solutions for employers and recruiters. The organisers have announced the finalists and we are thrilled to have been shortlisted for the Talent Tech Innovation Award.
About the TIARA Talent Tech Star Awards
The TIARAs recognise the most exemplary businesses in the global talent acquisition industry. They recognise the leading enablers of excellence and transformation in recruitment and talent acquisition. The shortlisting and judging process is based on five key metrics:
- excellence in delivery
- sustainable value
- business growth
The panel of judges sifted through the entries to shortlist 33 finalists in categories ranging from compliance and onboarding through to marketing and learning.
DaXtra is joined by another 5 finalists in the Talent Tech Innovation Award category. This award recognises a recruitment technology that has transformed or substantially improved the talent acquisition process for employers or recruiters.
We’re looking forward to the 18th September when the winners will be announced at a virtual awards ceremony.
How DaXtra was shortlisted
Innovation is at the heart of what we do at DaXtra.
In our entry, we highlighted details about DaXtra’s story and how the company was founded by two published academics (PhD graduates), Andrei Mikheev and Steven Finch. Their mission, more than 20 years ago, was to apply the clear business benefits of automation through natural language processing within the recruitment industry. In fact, their research at Edinburgh University created the foundations for the AI and machine learning we now use in our technology for customers around the world.
Fast forward to today: our recruitment automation software supports 40+ languages and serves 2,500+ clients globally through offices in the UK, across APAC and in the US.
We explained how a large part of a recruiter’s time is dedicated to tasks that can easily be automated. By using our technology, recruiters can automate their recruitment process so they can focus on what really matters: attracting a strong stable of clients and placing the best candidates. Not only does this simplify and streamline the recruitment process, it also increases the accuracy of the data because there is less scope for human error.
The usability and accuracy of DaXtra products mean our customers stay with us.
Demonstrating Talent Tech Innovation
We never stand still when it comes to product development. As a recent example our new DaXtra Search release has broken new ground. It is based on feedback that our users wanted to see the terms expansion when running a search. We developed our technology and updated our user interface to create a game-changing search experience.
When it comes to demonstrating proof of innovation, what better way than highlighting a new customer who conducted a side-by-side test using the technology they had, pitting it against DaXtra Search. Using the same specialised search criteria, for roughly every 20 candidates their current technology turned up, DaXtra Search came back with 100. On average, they saw DaXtra returning about five times as many candidates as their previous technology.
As a business, we were operating flexible working long before it was forced upon us by a global pandemic. This means the business delivers stability and security to its employees. We have survived recession after recession without having to make drastic decisions that impact our employees and clients. Our growing customer base is also proof of success.
